Arsim Kelmendi received the Electrical Engineer Degree from the University of Prishtina, Kosovo, in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree in information and communication technologies from the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School, Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 2017. He has been working for several years as IT Engineer in industry and as Teaching Assistant at university. From 2013 to 2017 he was a Research Assistant and from 2017 to 2018 a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the Department of Communication Systems, Jožef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana. He is currently with Telekom Slovenia, Ljubljana, and a Part-Time Research Associate with the Department of Communication Systems, Jožef Stefan Institute. He has authored around 20 papers in international-refereed journals and conferences. He was involved in three research projects cofounded by European Space Agency (ESA), concerned with satellite propagation. His current research interests include electromagnetic wave propagation, mitigation of the propagation impairments, and channel modeling at high frequencies for satellite communication systems.
